IN THE MCTAVISH ROOM
NNL! is a new twice monthly event that showcases using tabletop role-playing games (RPGs) to reimagine the ancient human tradition of interactive storytelling.
Event staff and displays will help explain RPGs in general and the specific games being played.
RPG players shape the stories as they are told; avoiding traps, or falling prey to them; battling foes, or charming them into buying a round of drinks at the local pub; fighting space dinosaurs, or teaching them to juggle. Who knows where the in-game story will lead?
We welcome anyone who wants to watch, play, collaborate, or just find out more about games like Dungeons & Dragons, Alien, Call of C’thulu, Pathfinder, etc.
Watch game-nerds doing their thing! Maybe play in a streamlined introductory game, or unleash YOUR inner nerd; dive right in and join one of the open live-play tables!
Come see strange figurines, cool dice, sculpted terrain, and other accessories that enhance this fifty year-old hobby.
FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAYS in the McTavish Room. Doors open at 6pm. Our McTavish snack-bar will be open! No outside food or drink is allowed. All attendees will need to sign a Code of Conduct and a Media Release. Minors need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
