Jazz on the River is back with The Brent Jensen Quartet!
Raised in Boise, Brent Jensen studied in New York City with jazz legend Lee Konitz on a grant in 1987 from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. He was a featured winner of the Woodwinds on Fire international talent search conducted in 1996 by Jazziz magazine and has performed with a variety of jazz artists, including Gene Harris, Bobby Shew, Gary Foster, John Clayton, Joe LaBarbera, Wycliffe Gordon, Warren Vache, John Stowell, Bill Watrous, Jamie Findlay, Dave Peck, Dianne Schuur, Kristin Korb, Marc Seales, Doug Miller, John Bishop, Bill Anschell, Don Sickler and many others. Brent's recordings have received significant national radio airplay and have been featured in all the major jazz periodicals.
Brent is joined by Jamie Findlay on guitar, Heather Chriscaden on bass, and Steve Tate on drums. All accomplished recording artists, educators, and touring musicians in their own right
This installment of Jazz on the River has a familiar face returning to the stage. Minntah Haefker will join the Brent Jensen Quartet for special vocal performances during the event.

This event features dessert by Aleesha Serrita Nedd of Naked Lemon Bakery in Astoria, Oregon. Opening in 2016, Naked Lemon is known for incredible French macarons, cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and much more.
Guests of Jazz on the River will have the option of either Pumpkin Caramel Cheesecake (GF) or Pumpkin Carmel Cake (Vegan & GF). Please make your selection at checkout.
