Colin Meloy is the frontman and songwriter for The Decemberists and an author.
The Decemberists formed in Portland, OR in 2000. Since that time, the Grammy-nominated band has released eight albums, including their latest, 'I'll Be Your Girl,' which was released in March 2018 on Capitol Records. Meloy has also recorded and toured as a solo artist. In 2013, he released the latest in a series of cover EPs, 'Colin Meloy Sings The Kinks.' Previous recordings feature the music of Morrissey, Shirley Collins, and Sam Cooke, along with a live album, 'Colin Meloy Sings…Live!'.
