Host Drew Wilson-McGrath would like to introduce you to your two new favorite comics: David Tveite & Adam Pasi.
Adam Pasi is one of your hosts favorite comics in the Pacific Northwest. Having been a northwest staple for years, he’s recently started to gain more notoriety with a popular set that was broadcast by Don’t Tell Comedy, in addition to an episode of the newly released PBS series Roots of Comedy. Adam also won Portland’s Funniest Person in 2019 (and technically 2020).
Often intense, but never taking himself too seriously, Adam enjoys bringing (sometimes dragging) others along as he picks apart the absurdity of his own life and the world in which we live. He has a heart of gold and the charming wit of a traveling storyteller that captures your attention for reasons you can’t quite explain. Adam makes for a unique comedy experience that will tickle funny bones you didn’t even know you had.
David Tveite is a fantastic comic who has appeared on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and performed at festivals across the country, including Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music Festival.
Drawing from an overactive imagination and a keen sense of the absurd, David’s material is clever, self-deprecating, and cheerfully pessimistic. An honest take from David about his work? "People seem to like it for the most part". He currently resides in Portland, Oregon, and was recently a Top 3 finalist during the Portland’s Funniest Person competition. Your host truly enjoys David’s humor; we know you will too.
