Host Drew Wilson-McGrath would like to introduce you to your two new favorite comics: Zak Toscani & Imani Danae.

Imani Danae is one of your host's favorite up-and-coming comics. She has been performing stand-up comedy for almost 4 years, and has developed an impressive following through her hilarious material and unique style.
Known for her astute and quirky observations, witty puns, and social commentary, Imani was named one of the Willamette Weekly’s 2023 Funniest Five comedians and was also named an Undisputable Genius of Comedy in 2023 (an honor for Oregon comics). Through her comedy, Imani brings more awareness to the unique experiences we live and breathe every day,  while simultaneously making her audience laugh at the unexpected. 

Zak Toscani is a standup comedian and writer living on the west coast. Zak started comedy in Portland but it has since taken him all around the world. Zak has performed at the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the The High Plains Comedy Festival.
With a focus on originality, vulnerability and specificity, Zak’s comedy has been highlighted by TIME, The AV Club, and The Portland Mercury. Zak is the most recurring guest on the hit comedy podcast All Fantasy Everything and has written for Comedy Central, the Washington Post, BBC, Newsweek, Buzzfeed, and Vice.

Zak might be the only touring standup comedian that uses and utilizes performing at private house shows during tour, which lead to a featured article by Vulture (read it here).
