Experience an interactive live chamber music event in the McTavish Room, featuring a "tasting menu" where the audience chooses the pieces to be performed. Savor a catered dinner from Bridgewater Bistro, and then delight in an intimate performance by the 45th Parallel Universe Orchestra, showcasing wind instruments.
Created in 2018 as a part of the 45th Parallel Universe expansion, Arcturus Winds features musicians from the Oregon Symphony who just freakin' love chamber music of all kinds. Old, new, standard, obscure— they celebrate an opportunity to play and share with all. Arcturus gathers their namesake from a star, and what a star Arcturus is… a big, bright star, nicknamed “a Boo” for its proper name Alpha Boötis in the constellation Boötes. You might just fall in love with this group’s spunk and find that Arcturus is your boo too.
BRIDGEWATER Dinner Menu:
-Spinach Salad with Crumbled goat cheese, caramelized onions, fresh spinach, balsamic dressing
-Salmon with a lemon tarragon beurre blanc
-Tuscan Chicken featuring a house-made cream sauce, spinach, and sundried tomatoes
-Roasted Potatoes OR Yukon Gold Creamy Mashed Potatoes
-Herb de Provence Green Beans with Roasted Tomatoes OR Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes
-Lemon Tartlets OR Chocolate Tartlets
