The Columbia River Symphony (Led by conductor Cory Pederson) presents their first ever Broadway Blockbusters concert!
After a successful holiday concert this past December, the Columbia River Symphony is proud to follow up with Broadway Revue, in partnership with many vocal talents from the North Coast region. The orchestra will be joined by vocalists Chelsea LaFey, Molly Oien, Amanda McClure and Sofia Morrill.
The concert will begin with Opening Night by Brian Balmages, followed by musical selections such as I Dreamed A Dream (Les Miserables), I Could Have Danced All Night (My Fair Lady), A Million Dreams (The Greatest Showman), Memory (CATS), Send in the Clowns (A Little Night Music). There will be selections from The Sound of Music featuring The Sound of Music, How Can Love Survive, The Lonely Goatherd, My Favorite Things, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, Do-Re-Mi, Edelweiss, An Ordinary Couple, No Way to Stop It, Maria, and Climb Every Mountain. Selections from West Side Story will be performed, with featured pieces, such as I Feel Pretty, Maria, Something's Coming, Tonight, One Hand, One Heart, Cool, and America. Further musical selections include Star Dust and Someone to Watch Over Me.
This is a FREE, family-friendly concert that all will enjoy! Please come out and support your community symphony and the arts, and take part in the joys of our community spirit.
Doors open at 2:00 pm. Arrive early and pick up snacks and drinks from out Lower Lobby Concessions to enjoy from your seat during the show!
